  • Jelani is the cat on the left. Jabari is on the right.
  • If I wasn't retired this one would be in my office. Think it will go on the wall somewhere here at home.

  • Two at once
  • We stopped 3 times for short water breaks on our trip. Not exactly sure, but we believe that we walked for over an hour in the bush with two lions. Awesome.
  • To be accepted as part of the pride is an honor.
  • Getting this close in the wild would be difficult and dangerous. We've gotten this close from a vehicle, but here we are walking with them.
  • The walk continues. We took turns leading. One of the prime cautions was not to let the lions get behind you.
  • How's this for a photo? The lions look good, too.

  • Seems to be enjoying his massage.
