  • Transvaal Candelabra tree. Tree was photographed in Kruger Park.
  • This was near the ship in the next photo. Not sure what type of bones they are, but someone has too much time on their hands.
  • Wreck on the Skeleton coast. This is the reason why it got it's name. Many ships and sailors died on this coast.
  • Don't know if this was from 1485 or a reproduction. In any case it establishes when the first "known" European came to the area.
  • Our ancestors wern't necessarily the best artists, but you need to consider the tools available to them. This Petrpglyph is estimated to be over 5,00 years old.
  • Petroglyphs at Twyfelfoutein Namibia. It is estimated that these glyphs are over 5,000 years ole.
  • Tree was just off the road as we drove in Damara land in Namibia. Thought it was neat.
  • The Etosha Pan. The Pan is one earths natural features that can be seen from space. Not a good place to get lost without water.
  • Photo taken at Etosha near sunset.
  • Etosha Prk Fire.
  • Fire in Etosha Park. Not sure what caused it.
