All of the photos in this gallery were taken in a controlled shoot in the Navajo Tribial Park (Monument Valley). The cougars were provided by Animals of Montana. The adult is Charlie. Several shooting locations within the park were used. It is believed that the shots with the mittens in the background are the first ever taken with a cougar in the foreground.
In this photo the dog and young cougar were playing in the sand and I was fortunate enough to turn just in time to capture the action. Note that the cougar does not have its claws exstended. The cougar is 10 months old named Liester the Golden is 4 years old and named Brody.
